TherAchieve is a private pediatric and adult therapy center that offers Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Playgroup Classes, and Academic and SpEd tutorials.

Located at 2nd Floor Antigua’s place in Barangay Gun-ob, Lapu-Lapu City.

It was established last June 2018. It is currently owned by Mr. Fredrich Ramos and is in full operation with the combined efforts of Ms. Isabella Tan and Ms. Shenna Jen Tai.

As a pediatric and adult therapy center, TherAchieve offers three (3) different kinds of therapy.

One of which is, Speech-Language Pathology or Speech Therapy which specializes in treating children with communication disorders, speech disorders and language disorders. A session is Php 650.00 with Initial/Re-Evaluation (IE) at Php 2,000.00 and Progress Evaluation at Php 1,000.00.

Another therapy they offer is Occupational Therapy. Occupational therapy helps individuals to develop, recover, or maintain the meaningful activities, or occupations of their daily life. A session is Php 550.00 with Initial/Re-Evaluation at Php 1,500.00 and Progress Evaluation at Php 1,000.00. Speech and Occupational Therapy may be a one on one or group therapy.

Lastly, Physical Therapy is a therapy that is used to treat injuries, deformities or chronic pain through exercise and other treatments, however, it can only be a one-on-one appointment done at the client’s house. Price per session is Php 550.00 with Initial/Re-Evaluation at Php 1,500.00 and Progress Evaluation at Php 1,000.00.

Playgroup classes, academic tutorials and SpEd tutorial services are also offered. Playgroup classes are Php 2,500.00/month and open to children 18 months to 4 years old.

Playgroup is every Monday to Friday at 10:30am – 12:30pm with a 30-minute lunch time. It includes classes like music, movement and arts and crafts. Academic and SpEd students do one on one interactions with licensed SpEd teachers for one hour. The teachers teach English, Math and Science or depending on the concerns of the parents and school recommendations.

A therapy session lasts for 1 hour. The time frame is: 5 minutes for the preparation or set-up of area. 45-50 minutes for main therapy activities and another 5-10 minutes for therapy notes, giving of home instructions and caregiver feedback about the child’s performance during the session.

After 6 months of therapy, the child will be recommended to have Progress Evaluation (PE). After 1 year, a re-evaluation (RE) will be done.The caregiver must notify the therapist-in-charge 2 weeks before asking for certified documents (IE, RE, PE) charged at Php 150.00.

What makes TherAchieve’s services unique is that they are one of the only centers here in Cebu who has a PROMPT-Trained Therapist. PROMPT stands for “Prompts for Restructuring Oral and Muscular Phonetic Targets”. Because of this, doctors often refer parents who are in need of a PROMPT-Trained Therapist to have their child receive therapy at TherAchieve. The center also makes the parents’ schedules hassle-free especially for those who live far and are from their jobs. By making schedules flexible for parents, the center also wants to enhance or keep that parent-child relationship.

TherAchieve targets residents from Lapu-Lapu city and other neighboring towns. In choosing this path for their journey, they saw the need for therapy centers in Cebu. They hope to render service to the different communities one center at a time soon.
